Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between SigmaChain Co., Ltd. (“Company”), the service provider of Piki (“Service”), and users (“Members”) regarding the use of the Service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
1. “Service” refers to the blockchain-based community service available to Members, which includes the core features of PikiNow, Lounge, and My Room, as well as messenger functions such as Blockchain Chat (recorded) and Private Chat (non-recorded).
2. “Member” means an individual who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
3. “PikiNow” refers to a feed page that integrates notification counts related to Member activities, Service announcements, searchable content, recommended Lounge posts, Piki friends, etc.
4. “Lounge” refers to a group-type content service where Members can form communities and chatrooms using chat and post features within channels (rooms) created by Members.
5. “My Room” refers to a personal page where Members can edit profiles, view posts, followers, following lists, today’s visitors, cumulative visit counts, and use the guestbook feature.
6. “Blockchain Chat” means a chat function in which conversation records are stored on the AriChain blockchain network.
7. “Private Chat” means a chat function in which conversation records are not stored.
8. “Post” means a community function within PikiNow and Lounge, allowing Members to share photos and videos with text.
9. “Host” means a Member who has been granted authority to operate and manage a specific Lounge channel.
10. “Account” means the ID and authentication information set by the Member to use the Service.
11. “Master Key” means a safeguard for protecting the password of the unified Piki blockchain account. It is used when resetting the account password if forgotten. If both the password and Master Key are lost, login to the account is impossible.
12. “Points” mean credits obtained through app activity, events, or purchases, which can later be used in the Piki Store to purchase My Room customization items.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)
1. These Terms shall be posted within the Service or on the website so that Members can easily access them.
2. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable laws and will notify Members at least 7 days before changes take effect, or 30 days in advance in the case of material changes.
3. If a Member does not agree to the amended Terms, they may discontinue use of the Service and withdraw their membership.
Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)
1. The Company provides the following Services to Members:
1. PikiNow (feeds showing information about non-friend Members or Lounges not joined)
2. Lounge (group channels for community activity and content sharing)
3. My Room (personalized pages for self-expression)
4. Blockchain Chat (conversation records stored on AriChain)
5. Private Chat (conversation records not stored)
6. Commercial functions (connections to brands, products, or services outside Piki at Members’ discretion)
7. Other supplementary services provided by the Company
2. The Company may change all or part of the Services due to technical or business needs, with prior notice.
3. The Service may include links to third-party websites or online services not owned or managed by the Company. The Company has no control over such services and, to the extent permitted by law, assumes no liability for them.
Article 5 (Membership Registration and Management)
1. To use the Service, Members must agree to these Terms and complete the Company’s prescribed registration procedures.
2. Members are responsible for protecting their account information and may not share or transfer it to third parties.
3. The Company may refuse registration or restrict use if:
1. False information is provided,
2. Another person’s identity is misused, or
3. The Company deems the application inappropriate.
Article 6 (Use of Service and Restrictions)
1. Members must use the Service in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
2. Members are prohibited from engaging in:
1. Transmission of unlawful or inappropriate content
2. Theft or unauthorized use of others’ personal information
3. Recording or misuse of inappropriate content in Blockchain Chat
4. Acts interfering with the Company’s operations
5. Abuse of Host authority to arbitrarily expel or discriminate against Members
6. Posting content that violates Lounge policies
3. Violations may result in restrictions, account suspension, or legal action.
Article 7 (Privacy and Security)
1. The Company shall make every effort to protect Members’ personal information and comply with applicable laws.
2. Conversation contents of Blockchain Chat are recorded on the AriChain network and cannot be deleted once stored.
3. Private Chat contents are not stored and remain confidential.
4. Posts in Lounge are public by default. Members must take care not to include personal information in posts. The Company is not responsible for issues arising from personal information disclosed in posts.
5. If a Member voluntarily deletes a Lounge, post, or channel, the data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
6. The Company implements technical and administrative measures to protect Members’ personal information.
Article 8 (Child Protection and Safety Policy)
1. Age Restrictions
1. Piki does not allow users under 13 years of age to register.
2. If a minor registers without parental or legal guardian consent, the Company may suspend or delete the account.
2. Privacy and Security
1. Personal information of users under 13 will not be collected without parental or guardian consent.
2. Such personal information will not be used beyond service provision purposes and may be deleted upon guardian request.
3. Guardians may request access, correction, or deletion of their child’s personal information.
3. Advertising and Payments
1. Users under 18 may not purchase paid services without parental or guardian consent.
2. Piki does not provide personalized advertising targeting children.
3. Guardians may block or restrict payment features within Piki.
4. Content Filtering and Reporting
1. Piki provides automatic filtering and reporting tools to prevent exposure of minors to harmful content (violent, sexual, hateful, illegal, etc.).
2. Reported content will be reviewed promptly, and accounts violating child protection policies may be suspended or restricted.
3. Harmful posts in Lounge may be blocked through reporting. Hosts who repeatedly post harmful content or disrupt operations may face restrictions.
5. Parental Controls
1. Guardians may restrict their child’s usage time, block certain content, or block harmful users.
2. Guardians may review their child’s activity and, if necessary, restrict Service use.
Article 9 (Disclaimer of Liability)
1. The Company is not responsible for the following:
1. Account information leaks or damages caused by the Member’s own fault
2. Issues arising from the inability to delete Blockchain Chat records
3. Service interruptions due to natural disasters or force majeure
2. The Company is not liable for Service operations unless caused by its willful misconduct or gross negligence.
3. Intermediary Role in E-commerce
1. The Company acts only as an intermediary platform provider under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., offering online services (posting product information, providing external links, etc.) for transactions between Members or between Members and third parties.
2. The Company is not the direct seller or supplier of products and does not guarantee or assume responsibility for their quality, safety, legality, or authenticity.
3. For products or services purchased through external sites linked via the Service, Members must contact the respective seller or site operator directly. The Company assumes no responsibility.
Article 10 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)
1. Disputes arising between the Company and Members relating to these Terms shall be resolved amicably through consultation.
2. If consultation fails, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the competent court shall be the court having jurisdiction over the Company’s principal office.
Article 11 (Lounge Hosts and Post-related Rules)
1. Lounge is a service where Members can freely create and operate channels.
2. Lounges may be automatically displayed in PikiNow depending on search visibility settings.
3. Information created by Members through the Lounge post feature is mediated or brokered by the Company “as is” without modification.
4. Chat functionality is provided among participating Members in Lounge forms.
5. Hosts have the following rights:
1. Manage and delete posts within the channel
2. Remove users or delegate host authority
3. Set channel visibility and search exposure
4. Approve or reject membership applications
6. If a Host’s activities violate these Terms or applicable laws, the Company may restrict or revoke Host authority.
Article 12 (Post Operation Policy)
1. The Company respects freedom of expression but operates Post services under the following restrictions due to risks of misuse:
① Content suspected of directly endangering the safety of Members or the public is prohibited.
② Content involving gambling, criminal acts, or incitement/assistance thereof is prohibited.
③ Members must respect others’ rights, including honor, privacy, and copyright, and comply with related laws.
④ Posts involving goods or services may be freely traded, but promotion, advertising, or sale of prohibited goods/services under law is restricted. Transactions must comply with laws such as the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
⑤ Lounges operated for commerce must disclose business information required by law, including business name, representative, address, phone number, email, business registration number, Terms of Service, etc.
⑥ Sales or purchases through Lounge or Posts are the sole responsibility of the Member(s) involved.
⑦ Posts circumventing technical copyright protection or violating copyright law are restricted.
⑧ The Company follows the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and the Copyright Act to resolve issues related to defamation, privacy, or copyright infringement.
⑨ Posts containing explicit sexual content, obscene expressions, or distorted sexual depictions are prohibited.
⑩ Posts depicting inhumane or degrading content (violence, excrement, animal abuse, etc.) are prohibited.
⑪ Posts objectifying or dehumanizing children or adolescents are strictly prohibited.
2. Posts must comply with applicable e-commerce laws. Advertising or promotion of goods/services is allowed only within legal obligations.
3. Lounge relies on Member reports. Report posts or Members suspected of violating laws, these Terms, or Post policies. Reports will be carefully reviewed and acted upon.
Article 13 (External Links and Information Display)
1. Product information and links posted by Members are user-input, and the Company does not pre-screen or guarantee their accuracy, legality, or validity.
2. The Company may delete or restrict posts containing such links if deemed illegal or socially inappropriate.
3. Members must ensure that posted links do not infringe third-party intellectual property or portrait rights. Violations may result in civil or criminal liability.
4. Posts promoting restricted goods/services are prohibited. Restricted items include:
Supplementary Provisions
1. These Terms shall take effect on September 4, 2025.
2. The major amendments are as follows:
> Change of service name
> Addition of provisions related to the introduction of PikiNow
> Addition and amendment of provisions related to the introduction of Lounge
> Addition of provisions related to the introduction of My Room
3. Continued use of the Service after the enforcement of the amended Terms shall be deemed as acceptance of the amended Terms.

1. March 5, 2025 – Initial establishment of the Terms of Service
2. May 26, 2025 – Amendment following the introduction of the PikiLand service
