I forgot my password. How can I recover it ?

PikiTalk is blockchain-based, and account recovery is not possible without email verification and the master key provided at sign-up. Please make sure to store your master key securely.

Can I use the messenger on PC as well?

PikiTalk offers a PC version.

Can I change the chatroom theme?

You can change the color theme by going to More >Display > Theme Color.

What kind of app is "PikiTalk"?

PikiTalk is a secure and convenient messenger app. Private chats are not stored on servers, reducing the risk of hacking. Additionally, blockchain chatrooms are tamper-proof, recorded on the blockchain, and allow for file storage validity and permanent conversation retention.

What types of chatrooms are available in "PikiTalk"?

PikiTalk offers the following types of chatrooms:

▶ Private Chatroom (General Chat): You can have 1:1 chats and group chats, and the chat history is not stored on the server.
▶ Blockchain Chatroom: The conversation content is recorded on the blockchain, making it tamper-proof and undeletable.

What is a Private Chatroom?

Private Chatrooms function like regular chatrooms, allowing 1:1 and group chats, but with the key feature that the chat content is not stored on the server. Additionally, a translation feature is available, allowing you to easily translate messages within the chat.

What is a Blockchain Chatroom?

Blockchain Chatrooms are conversation rooms where messages are recorded on the blockchain. Once recorded, messages cannot be modified or deleted, ensuring transparency and security.

Can I chat with myself?

Yes! The "Chat with Myself" feature is supported. You can use it to store notes, links, files, and more.

Can I delete messages?

You cannot delete your sent messages to make them invisible to the recipient, as they are not stored on the blockchain or server.

Can I back up my chat history?

You can back up your chat history by going to More > Chat > Back Up Chat History. Backed-up data is valid for 3 days.

Can I share files?

Yes! You can share photos, videos, documents, and other files.

Is PikiTalk free to use?

Yes! PikiTalk is completely free to use.

Is there a reporting feature?

Yes! You can report by going to More > Customer Service. The reported issue will be reviewed internally and appropriate actions will be taken.
